Products
Two products I design, build and run
Building my own products puts me on every side of the job: interface, mobile, API, data, releases, maintenance, and selling what I build.
Questovery
Example
Create and run treasure hunts. Organisers prepare their routes and follow teams from a web workspace, players play on an iOS and Android app.
- My role
- Product design, UX/UI, full-stack and mobile development, deployment, maintenance, marketing and sales.
- What it does
- Mobile app: game flow, geolocation, QR codes, camera and media, with phone permissions handled.
- Web workspace: route creation, step setup, team management, live progress and results.
- Field constraints: game actions stored locally then synced, no double counting, recovery after a network drop.
- Mobile builds, web and server deployments, error tracking, tests on game rules, access rights and sync.
- Stack
TanStack Start · oRPC · React · React Native · Expo · PostgreSQL · Drizzle
Mon Pont Chaban
Example
Know before leaving whether the Chaban-Delmas bridge in Bordeaux is up: current status, upcoming closures and personalised alerts on mobile or by email.
- My role
- Product design, web and mobile interfaces, back end, data integration and maintenance.
- What it does
- Notification templates and settings per day and hour, iCal calendar of closures.
- Bordeaux Métropole data integrated, schedules kept when the source is unavailable, stale status detected.
- Scheduled sends that handle French time and daylight saving, retries on temporary failures.
- Back end written with Effect TS, tests on schedules and notification rules.
- Stack
TanStack Start · oRPC · React · React Native · Expo · Effect TS
Contact
I enjoy joining an existing product, understanding its constraints and moving it forward with the team in place. If your app needs that kind of eye, I would be glad to talk.
